School-wide Behavior Reporting

The school-wide Behavior page provides a central place to view and manage behavior records across your school. You can review behavior trends, view individual records, and filter information by student, classroom, or time period. You can also create new behavior records directly from this page.

To access it, go to Reports → Behavior. All behavior records appear here, regardless of where they were originally created.

Filtering Behavior Records

Use the available filters to narrow the overview and behavior logs to the information you need.

You can filter the overview and logs by:

  • Session: View records from a specific session.
  • Student: Focus on an individual student's behavior records.
  • Classroom: Review records associated with a particular classroom.
  • Grade: View records for students in a specific grade.
  • Date Range: Limit records to a specific period.

You can also narrow the behavior logs using these additional filters:

  • Severity Level: Focus on records with a particular severity level.
  • Category: View records in a specific behavior category, such as Disruption, Tardiness, Leadership, or Kindness.
  • Notification Status: Filter records based on their guardian notification status.

These filters make it easier to identify patterns, review specific incidents, and monitor behavior across different groups of students.

Downloading Behavior Records

You can download behavior logs for recordkeeping or further review. Apply the appropriate filters before downloading to focus on the records you need.

Recording Behavior

Positive behavior and behavior incidents can be recorded here. To record a behavior record, select Log Incident and enter the relevant details. Depending on the record, you can include:

  • Date, time, and location
  • Category, such as Disruption, Physical Aggression, Tardiness, Responsibility, Leadership, or Kindness
  • Severity level
  • Description
  • Witnesses
  • Disciplinary actions

After recording an incident, you can choose whether to notify the student's parents or guardians.

Notifications can be sent by:

  • Email
  • Guardian Portal
  • Both email and the Guardian Portal

Incidents posted to the Guardian Portal remain available there as a record for guardians to reference.

You can also require guardian acknowledgement. When acknowledgement is required, guardians can click a button in the email or in the Guardian Portal to confirm that they have seen the notification. If the family has not acknowledged the notification within 48 hours, one reminder email is sent.

Behavior can also be recorded in the following locations:

  • Student profiles
  • Classrooms

All behavior records will appear here in the school-wide Behavior Log.
