Storing Student Information
Student information is stored in the student's Profile tabs. Additional information is stored in the Form Submissions, Files, and Enrollment tabs.
Student Profiles
This section provides pre-built fields for important student information, including
- Full name
- Guardians
- Family
- Emergency contacts
- Approved pickup persons
- Special needs
- Medications
- Contact information
You can also add custom fields, called Custom Attributes, to store student- or school-specific information.
To add a Custom Attribute:
- Click + Add Attribute below the student’s main information.
- Create a new attribute by entering a name and selecting a type, or choose an existing attribute from the list.
- Once the attribute is created or selected, enter the value (the student’s specific information).

Notes About Student
In the main Profile section you can add private notes about a student and control who can view them. Navigate to Admin → People → Student, select the student and type in the Notes About Student section. To choose visibility settings after saving, use the colored dropdown box.
Ways to use the Notes About Student:
- Store information that doesn’t need a dedicated profile field.
- Jot down quick observations or reminders.
- Keep private notes for your reference only.
- Create multiple notes, each timestamped.

Form Submissions
Forms submitted by a student or linked manually to a student's profile will appear in the Form Submissions tab. To learn how to create forms, send form requests, and link submissions to specific profiles, see the Forms help docs.

Files
The Files tab in a student’s profile is a secure place to store important documents related to the student. Files can be uploaded directly or copied over from an enrollment application.
Common types of documents you may want to store here include transcripts, IEP or 504 plans, medical records, or student photos.
Enrollment Applications
The Enrollment tab displays all enrollment applications associated with the student.
Click on any application to open and review its details.
Printing and Saving Student Information
Student information can be printed or downloaded as a PDF for your records. Click Print at the the top of the Students page or within a student profile, and select the information you wish to print.
- Customize Printouts: In the Print modal, select from the various quick format options, including Basic Info, Emergency Contacts, or Student Classroom Schedule. Click View Print Details to customize the information included, adjust the format, or add your school logo.
- Save Printouts as PDFs: When printing, select Save as PDF in the destination dropdown. The PDF will be saved to your device.
