Changing Student Count

Student Counts

  • Homeschool plan: The Homeschool plan includes 3 students. Additional students can be added for $1.49 each.
  • Microschool plan: The Microschool plan accommodates up to 25 students. Additional students cost $1.49 each. If your school has 50 or more students, please contact us for custom pricing at hello@sparkschools.co.
  • Enterprise plan: A plan tailored for larger schools, Enterprise includes up to 100 students. Additional students can be added for $1.00 each. To learn more about this plan, contact us for custom pricing at us a hello@sparkschools.co.

Changing Your Student Count

To see your current student count, go to School Subscription and find the status bar.

To adjust the number of students on your current plan

  1. Go to School Subscription in the navigation menu.
  2. Click Manage Billing Details next to your subscription plan.
  3. Select Update Subscription to access the student count settings.
  4. Click Update Quantity.
  5. Increase or decrease the number of students.
  6. Click Confirm to save changes.

Prospective, inactive, or alumni students are not included in your student count.

Students in the Spark Platform

Student Statuses

Students can have different statuses based on their enrollment status in your school. These statuses determine their access and functionality within Spark. Only active students count toward your subscription cost and have full access, including the student portal. Other statuses include Prospective, Inactive, and Alumni.

Active Students

With active students in Spark, you can

  • Create assignments, goals, and activities for your students.
  • Link students to their own portal, where they can view and submit assignments and goal progress.
  • Chat with students through their portal.
  • Store student information for your records.
  • Keep attendance and grade records for students.
  • Generate reports for students.
  • Create guardians for students.
  • Share vital information through the guardian portal, such as reports, forms, announcements, emails, and invoices.
