Attendance Schedules

Creating Attendance Schedules
- Navigate to Attendance:
- Go to Admin → Attendance → Schedule.
- Click "+ Add New Schedule" in the top right.
- Name the schedule and set the date range, time, and days of the week.
- Select attendees. Use + Add All in School or + Select Students for customization.
- Assign the schedule to a classroom and term.
- Click Save.

Modifying Attendance Schedules
Editing from the Attendance Schedule Page
- Go to Admin → Attendance → Schedule.
- Click "Edit Schedules" at the top right.
- Click on the attendance block to edit, drag to a new date, or delete.
- Use Undo, Redo, or Discard to reset changes.
- Click Save once edits are complete.

Editing from the Attendance Modal
- Navigate to Admin → Attendance → Schedule and open a schedule.
- Go to the Schedule tab and modify dates by dragging and dropping the teal blocks on the dates, using the Shift buttons, or deleting entries.
- Add new dates by adjusting the Start/End Date or Days of the Week and clicking Apply Pattern.
- Click Save to confirm changes.

School Event Attendance
School events can also require attendance if needed. Event attendance can only be created on the School Calendar or Student Planner.
To require attendance for an event:
- Navigate to the School Calendar or Student Planner and create an event.
- In the Attendees section, select the students the event applies to.
- Check the Require Attendance box.
- Save.
