Activity & Rewards
A Classroom's Activity tab gives you several quick views of a student's class work, including a Class Stream, a list of all assignments (including those in a set or course), students' progress and submissions, grades, and students' rewards and point balances.
Class Stream
The Class Stream is the first page you see when you enter a classroom. It provides a central place to post important classroom information for students to view in their portals. Students see the same information in the Timeline view of their To-do page.
When you first open the Class Stream, it displays today's date. Use the date selector at the top of the stream to move to other dates. Dates with a dot indicator have assignments or events scheduled for that day.
The following can be added to the Class Stream:
- Assignments or Goals
- Courses
- Events
- Resources

Assignments
In the Assignments tab, all assignments appear in a single list, including unique assignments, assignments that are part of a set or course, and goal assignments. Completed assignments (submitted and approved) remain visible in the list. Assignments can be opened and edited as needed.
Filter Assignments: Use the available filters to narrow the list by type, course, topic, subject, or student.
Manage Courses and Sets: Use the Manage Courses or Manage Sets buttons to select, edit, and manage courses and assignment sets.
Customize and Export the Table: Information about each assignment is displayed in the table. Use the column selection button at the top of the table to add or remove columns.
To download the information displayed in the table, click the Download button at the top of the table and select CSV.
Progress & Submissions
The Progress & Submissions tab shows assignments or goals progress and submissions.
A view can be selected at the top of the page:
- Assignment Progress
- Goal Progress
- Submissions
Assignment Progress
When Assignment Progress is selected, a list of incomplete assignments due as of the current date will appear. These can be filtered by subject and/or student.
Use the view options to change which assignments are displayed:
- Due: Shows assignments due as of the current date.
- All: Shows all assignments, including past, future, completed, and excused assignments.
- Due Today: Shows only assignments due today.
- Late: Shows only overdue assignments.
The Status column shows the current submission status of each assignment:
- Incomplete: The assignment has not been submitted.
- Awaiting Approval (yellow): The student has submitted the assignment and it is waiting for approval.
- Redo (purple): The assignment was reviewed and needs to be redone.
- Approved (green): The assignment has been submitted and approved.
- Excused: The assignment has been excused and does not need to be completed.
Goal Progress
When in the Goal Progress view, a student must be selected in order to see his or her goal progress.
Once a student is selected, all goals still in progress for that student will appear. Goals can be opened and submissions added or approved.
Submissions
When the Submissions view is selected, all unapproved student assignment submissions appear. These are color-coded yellow with the status “Awaiting Approval.”
You can also filter submissions by status—Redo, Excused, or Approved—as well as filter by response type.
Clicking on a submission allows you to view it, leave feedback, and update its status (such as Approved or Redo).
Multiple submissions can be selected at once, allowing you to bulk-update their status for faster review.
