Our K–8 micro school is a cozy, one-room classroom where kids learn in small groups and at their own pace. We mix ages, so students get to learn alongside peers with different skills and strengths. Each day includes a balance of teacher-led lessons, hands-on activities, outdoor time, and independent work. We focus on mastering core skills like reading, writing, math, science, and social studies—without rushing or comparing. Kids also get time for play, creativity, and social-emotional growth. It’s a relaxed, supportive environment where learning feels natural and kids are truly seen.

Our high school program is all about flexibility, independence, and real learning. Students work on personalized courses that match their interests and goals, with support from a teacher to guide the way. Each student creates a learning plan and works toward mastery at their own pace, earning credit as they go. We focus on building skills that matter—academic, creative, and practical. Whether students want to dive into advanced academics, explore hands-on projects, or prepare for future careers, we’re here to support their unique path.

More Details:
Curriculum:

Vibrant Minds uses a mastery-based approach where students progress through reading, writing, math, science, and social studies at their own pace. Lessons are personalized with a mix of direct teaching, hands-on learning, and independent work. K–5 students explore interest-based topics that are woven into core subjects, while grades 6–8 also choose from elective options like arts, STEM, and project-based learning. We support the whole child with social-emotional development and self-directed learning skills. Progress is measured through meaningful projects and portfolio assessments, not just tests.

Religious Affiliation:

Our teacher is Christians, Vibrant Minds is a secular program with no religious affiliation. Religion is not part of our formal curriculum or instruction. However, upper-grade students are welcome to include religious studies as part of their self-directed electives, which must be completed independently or through outside resources.
