A typical day at Sunrise Learning Academy begins with a warm welcome, morning pledges, prayer, and positive affirmations to set the tone for learning. Students then engage in core academic subjects including ELA, math, science, and history using a combination of Abeka, CKLA, Lexia, and Zearn, with lessons tailored to their Personalized Learning Plans. Small class ratios allow for individualized attention, hands-on activities, and project-based learning through Rock by Rock, alongside enrichment such as art, PE, and Mindfulness Matters. For students with assigned therapy services, support is integrated seamlessly into their day as therapists work on site or in designated quiet spaces to provide counseling, speech therapy, occupational therapy, or other interventions, ensuring that these services complement rather than interrupt academic instruction.
