Faith:

At Discovery Christian Academy our values of love, learning, and service are based on the understanding that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He was born of a virgin through the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus died on the cross and was raised on the third day so that we can live eternally in heaven with Him. Our view of morality is defined by following the examples that Jesus showed us on earth. Through Him, we can love God and others, learn to live the way He wants us to live, and give of ourselves to those in need. We also understand that God’s grace and His forgiveness is the reason that we can follow Him.

Admission Process:

Once we have received the application, we will contact you to set up an assessment time. We test students primarily to determine placement in math and language arts. Because our school works in multi-grade clusters, it is not uncommon for a student to be moved into class that is higher or lower than his/her age suggests. In addition, our evaluations ensure that your child can both follow directions and think creatively. Fall assessments generally take place during the summer, while students entering our school mid-year may be evaluated during their first few weeks of attendance. Upon acceptance, you will receive a detailed information packet along with your student’s start date and payment information. We look forward to taking this journey with your family. We are always available to answer any questions that you might have, and pray that you find the right school for your child.
